I am a forever student with an undying quest for knowledge, adventure, exploration, love, and continuous growth. I have one kiddo, currently in full-on teenage mode. I was single mom until she was around 8 years old, at which point I met the most amazing human whom I now get the joy of calling my life partner!
I have always enjoyed learning new subjects, exploring new places, and trying adventurous things. My curiosity has gotten the better of me from time to time. But those are the moments that teach us the grandest of lessons. As a survivor of domestic violence, I learned I can beat the odds and continue to thrive no matter what life throws at me.
My love for adventure was born from my gypsy soul, with a natural lust for wander, waiting for the chance to grow into a greater love. I am constantly seeking experiences and travels that will lead to unexplored possibilities and discoveries galore!
Curiosity and a desire for understanding are at the beginning of every adventure. My favorite part in the process of learning is exploring, searching, looking for clues that will guide me to my answer, many times leading to new questions to investigate.
My Questions. My Answers. My Experiences. My Story skewed by the wisdom of the experienced collective, masters in their subjects. I will never be a master of mine, for life is far too complex for any ONE person to champion, even if they live for eternity. However elusive, I aim to ace the creation of a life worth living, perfecting the art of discovery, uncovering my truths and speaking them into the universe, unwaveringly. Not just working towards satisfying my physical being, but also raise my vibrations leading my spiritual being to a higher place.
Always an empath, designed to love and be loved. I want to spread that love and help the world become a more accepting and understanding place for all creatures. Every aspect of our world should be cherished and protected, loved and respected.
In order to do so, I must say goodbye to my comfort zone and shed the layers of self-preservation I have donned over the years. Exposing my vulnerabilities, experiencing the pain, learning the lessons, and continuing to move upward and onward – second star to the right, straight on till morning!
As I navigate the nuances of the University of Life I will share new experiences, adventures, and lessons, weaving in stories from lives past. This journey is not a competition, I don’t want to race to the finish line! Let’s collaborate and create, rather than spread hate! I hope you will join me and take a piece of the knowledge I offer to further our collective wisdom, leading us towards a more balanced way of life across the globe for generations to come. No matter how far along on the path you are, you’re Neva too old to learn something new and you’re Neva too young to teach!

What I do
Learn & Educate
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Colorado State University, with a concentration in Organization & Innovation Management. A degree that fed my OCD and creative mind at the same time, leaving my career possibilities wide open. A blessing and a curse because I want to do everything! One of my professors once said, “The best way to learn is to teach.” My hope with this blog is to use my explorations as a conduit, connecting you all to your true, desired paths by opening your minds to the limitless possibilities, leading by example.
Create & Collaborate
I love to create new things from all mediums. Seeing an idea come to life, helping mold, shape, and perfect it is the best feeling in the world. My favorite projects usually involve sewing; custom dresses, costumes (jewelry and accessories included), and upcylcling old hand-me-downs into something new. I’m working on unleashing more of my creative side, expanding beyond the fiber arts and exploring my skills in drawing/sketching, painting, photography, and more. Tips, tricks, and collaborations are always welcome!
Rest & Rejuvenate
Being a single mom for so long, I forgot what it meant to relax and restore my energy banks. I am re-learning self-care and self-love. Honoring my body and mind when they tell me I need rest, feeding my soul when it needs refueled. Exercise and movement are central to rejuvenating both the body AND the mind. I love to play sports, where I get both exercise and human connection. I am practicing Yoga to reconnect my mind, breath, and body. I am learning the ancient art of Belly Dancing, not to perform but to guide all the energies through me, allowing it to flow through all parts of my physical being, wearing my road blocks down and smoothing out this path.
